*The patient passes on to the examination section and puts on the examination robe. The doctor examines the patient and plans how to accomplish the procedure. He explains his treatment plan.
*Local anesthesia is applied to a small area under the bottom part of the groin.

*Bandage is applied to the leg treated and after that the patient is let to walk for 10-20 minutes and after resting for a short while he can go back home on foot, go on with his normal activities. If he has pains at night, he can take of the drugs prescribed by the doctor.
*Bandage is removed after two-three days an the varicose socks are worn for the period of days.
*After two weeks sports activities and warm baths can be started.
